Your fruits can be converted to gold, and gold is what you spend in the shop. You can browse the shop from your dashboard.

What Can I Buy?

The shop has prizes like tools, 3D printers, electronics kits, and even a ticket to our in-person hackathon in South America. Items rotate, so check back often.

Variety Pays Off

Gold is the main currency, but certain future shop items will be gated behind specific fruit types. Building across different levels (and across software and hardware) gives you a mix of Mango, Pineapple, Papaya, Cocoa, Guava, Coconut, Watermelon, and Avocado, and that mix is what gives you the most options when those unlocks land. Converting every fruit straight to gold is fine, but holding on to a little variety is a smart bet.

How Gold Works

Gold is earned by converting your fruits right here in the shop. Use the Convert to Gold button on each fruit, or Convert All to Gold to do every fruit at once. Higher-level fruits are worth more gold each. See the Earning Fruits page for the full breakdown.

Remember, have fun building and the rewards will follow! The shop is a bonus. The real prize is the skills you pick up and the projects you build along the way.
