Each project is assigned a fruit based on its type (software or hardware) and complexity level. Harder projects earn fewer fruits per hour, but each fruit is worth more gold.

Every day you work on a project, that project's streak ticks up by one. When you ship, the project's streak multiplies the fruit reward awarded by 1 + (streak × 0.01), so a 30-day streak earns you 1.30x as many fruit. Converting that fruit to gold later uses the flat shop rate, the streak is already baked into what you earned. Miss a day and the streak resets, so streak freezes from the shop are worth it.
Multiplier is snapshotted at ship time. Long streaks before shipping are worth the wait.
Estimate the gold value of a ship at a given project streak. Type the base fruit reward (before any streak), and the panel walks through the same math the server runs at ship approval: base fruit × project streak, then each fruit converts to gold at the flat shop rate. The streak only multiplies the fruit you earn at ship time, converting fruit to gold later never applies a bonus.
